Summer Reading Program 2023

  • The Summer Reading Program starts on May 30, 2023 and goes until the day before the Finale on Friday, July 28, 2023. All Reading logs must be received by Thursday, July 27, 2023 to count.
  • You must be 0-17 years of age to participate.
  • You must have a valid library card with your card and all cards related to it in good standing (No fines, No overdue items, and up-to-date).
  • You must fill out a registration form and submit it to a library staff member who will check it and give you a reading log.
  • For Kids, every 15 minutes you read, are read to, or listen to an audio book, your parent or a librarian initials or stamps a circle on the reading log.
  • For Teens, a space on the reading log must be initialed by a parent or a librarian for every book you read.
  • If you attend a library related event, one of our staff members will mark an additional space on your log if you bring it in (maximum of five per sheet).
  • Once the entire log is filled out, you can submit it to a librarian to receive a reading prize and a ticket for the drawing for one of the big prizes at the End of Summer Reading Finale on Friday, July 28, 2023.
  • If the reading log is lost, you may start a new one from the day you receive the replacement.

You must be present at the End of Summer Reading Finale on Friday, July 28, 2023 to win a drawing prize. Please mark your calendars!
