Cynthia has been with the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library since January 2011. She received her Master of Science in Information Sciences from the University of Texas in 2010. You can find her most days at the second floor reference desk where she will be happy to help you find books as well as helping you with reference inquiries and general computer questions. Cynthia also holds technology workshops every month and occasionally teaches the Monday night computer classes.
Public Services Librarian
Robert Young has been with the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library since February 2013. He divides his time between the Children’s Department and the Reference Desk. Robert also plans, schedules, creates, and presents most of the programs including storytimes, monthly crafts and projects like t-shirt decorating, origami and paper airplanes, and the writer’s program. You can find Robert at the Reference Desk or the Children’s Desk where he can answer any question you have about the library and library programs.
Patty has been with the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library since November 2005. Patty is often behind the scenes cataloging and working hard to keep the library budget, but she also helps patrons check-out materials at the circulation desk. Patty is the creative force behind the library newsletter and our wildly popular Storytime Pajama Party. Visit the home page to sign up!
Charlie has been with the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library since January 2013. Most days you can find him at his desk on the second floor or roaming our computer lab making sure all the computers are working in tip-top shape. Remember, if you have any questions, problem, or curiosity about computers, phones, websites, or other library technology services Charlie is the guy to see!
Denise has been with the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library since September 2010. You will see her first and last when you visit the library; she will help you check-out your materials, find books, magazines and newspapers, and help direct you to all the different resources available in the library. Need to renew or forgot when your books are due? Denise can answer all your questions and renew your library materials.
Inter-Library Loan Coordinator
Kathy has been with the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library since 2002. She divides her time between the circulation desk where she will help you check out your library materials and the Inter-Library Loan (ILL) office where she processes all ILL requests. ILL is a wonderful service to let you borrow books from other libraries. Kathy also schedules our Community Service and Volunteer workers. Make a difference, come volunteer!
Kim has been with the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library since June 2003. You can find Kim in the evenings helping check-out library materials and once a month she entertains and reads for us all at the Storytime Pajama Party. Kim is dedicated to education and is instrumental in the summer Earning By Learning and Adventure Storytime programs.
Homework Center Assistant
Robert joined the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library in September 2012. Need help with a school project or routine homework? Bobby is the person to talk with. He runs the Homework Center in the afternoons and on Saturdays. Be sure to ask Bobby about practice tests for all levels of school and career-oriented exams.
Arrial joined the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library in February of 2014. Putting together crafts, serving storytime snacks, and designing the quizzes, artwork, and activities on the library bulletin board, Arrial can be found in the children’s department mornings or afternoons.
